About This Place

Located in the heart of downtown Heroica Puebla de Zaragoza, Amalfi is a must-visit gem for lovers of authentic Italian cuisine with a focus on wood-fired thin-crust pizzas that capture the true essence of Naples. Nestled at Calle 3 Ote. 207, this inviting pizzeria and Italian fast-casual restaurant masterfully blends traditional flavors with a warm, cozy atmosphere that invites both casual diners and devoted foodies to savor every bite.

Amalfi’s menu is a flavorful journey through Italy’s most beloved dishes, featuring elegant pizzas like the Pizza Italiana Amalfi and the intriguingly decadent Pizza Nutella, perfect for those with a sweet tooth. The Pizza Diavola offers a spicy kick with pepperoni and fire-roasted goodness, while the Pizza Vegetariana is a vibrant celebration of fresh, seasonal vegetables. For pasta enthusiasts, dishes like Ai Frutti Di Mare and creamy Alfredo Pasta Calamari bring the sea and Italian richness to your plate.

One cannot miss the delicate Tiramisú that closes your meal on a perfectly indulgent note, or the crisp and refreshing Insalata Caprese, balancing creamy mozzarella, ripe tomatoes, and fragrant basil. Complementing the Italian culinary staples are house specials such as Pan Con Ajo and classic Italian salads like the robust Insalata Dello Chef, draped in a cheese blend including gouda and manchego for an unexpected twist.

The beverage selection has something for everyone, with refreshing options ranging from traditional Sidral Mundet and Squirt Toronja to classic soft drinks like CocaCola Original and freshly squeezed juices.

Amalfi's dining space complements the food with a cozy, relaxed vibe — several visitors highlight the intimate setting especially at the back of the restaurant, making it a perfect spot for casual dates or friendly gatherings. The service, notably delivered with warmth and attentiveness by staff such as Miriam, adds an extra layer of charm to the dining experience. The ability to customize pizzas with half-and-half toppings is a thoughtful touch that many diners appreciate, reflecting the restaurant’s dedication to guest satisfaction.

Reviews from satisfied customers reinforce Amalfi’s standing as a local favorite. Guests like Fran L praise the “super kind and delightful service,” alongside a menu that never fails to satisfy. Loyal diners such as Miguel Rojas return to enjoy consistently well-prepared dishes and welcoming hospitality. Visitors also remark on the authentic Neapolitan-style crust — thin, crispy, and bearing that ideal slight tang — a signature quality rarely matched outside Italy itself.

Whether you’re craving a gorgeous four-cheese masterpiece, aiming to share a Hawaiian twist, or seeking the bold flavors of the Pizza Italiana Con Jamón Serrano, Amalfi offers a genuine taste of Italy with the convenience and warmth of a neighborhood favorite. Its blend of ambiance, flavorful offerings, and thoughtful service creates a truly memorable dining experience in Puebla’s vibrant Centro.

Every time I'm in Puebla I take the chance to dine in this place, always a good experience, food prepared and presented really nice, great service... pricing is average. All in all, a great place to eat an Italian meal (Pasta+Pizza+Wine)...

We were two ladies, had a table by the window. Nice staff. The pizza is 35cm in diameter and they let us have two different types on one pizza dough! …. And the lady spoke English and had an Aspirin for us !!! So kind!

Italian dishes with excelente service. We visited it on what it seems to be a busy hour. There was an air conditioning close to the table so the pizza turned cold very fast.

My girl and I went here looking for something tasty to eat, we checked the reviews and photos and seemed to be a perfect place and we were not far from our expectations. The place is a little small but cosy, and the best here is pizza without fail, it is napolitana style, that means dough is thin and crispy and what surprises us was its acid taste just like the ones you can eat in Naples, the pasta was overcooked but just a little bit, the service was fast and the staff was super friendly.

Excellent service and a nice atmosphere. The amatraciana lacked a requisite element: picante. It tasted like sugar was added to the recipe. I was told that Poblanos are not so into spicy foods. (Maybe that's why their mole is sweeter than that of Oaxaca.) Good portion. Reasonable prices for an El Centro location.
